Planning Special Interest Group
If
you are interested in what is going to change in
We
get together once a month, on the last Thursday of the month, at Broomgrove
Community Centre, at 6.30pm for about 2 hours. All are welcome.
We
discuss all the major planning applications that have been submitted to
Hastings Borough Council in that month. This can be seemingly small changes,
like the conversion of the Malvern Public House to flats, or massive ones,
like the plans Seaspace have for the old power station and goods yard
site.
Developers
have attended this meeting before submitting planning applications to
the council to gage the public’s opinion. The group have therefore been
able to influenced developers’ applications before the planning stage.
If
